DRI seizes gold smuggled from Dubai worth Rs 4.7 cr

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized gold worth Rs 4.7 crore which was smuggled from Dubai from two persons here.
The seizure of 16.3 kg of Dubai-make gold, which was smuggled into India via Bangladesh, was done last evening from near the M G Road metro station, a senior DRI official said today.
The two have been arrested, he said, adding that the value of the seized gold is Rs 4.7 crore.
