Four-laning of Rohtak-Hansi-Hisar road soon

Informing this here today, Rohtak MP Deepinder Singh Hooda said the project would open new vistas of progress for larger part of the state.

"With the achievement of this first goal, our endeavour would be expediting the four laning of Hisar-Fatehabad-Sirsa- Dabwali till Punjab border," he said.

He thanked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Surface Transport Minister CP Joshi for approving the project.

Hooda earlier held many rounds of meetings with Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry for clearance of this project, a long standing demand of people of the area.

He said the National Highway Authority of India would shortly tender this 98.89 km long project and work on it would soon commence.

 

He said five bye-passes would be constructed under this project at Hansi City, Meham, Kharkada, Madina and Rohtak City. It would provide big relief to people in those cities and ease traffic. The road would pass through the heart of Haryana and give a big boost to its economy, he added.
