Press Trust of India Nagpur
Railway has decided that 50 per cent of the existing tatkal quota tickets will be sold under dynamic fare scheme in four trains passing through the city, a move that will make travel costlier for passengers opting for this route to book berths.

After booking of the first 50 per cent of tickets under tatkal quota, the rest will be sold on dynamic pricing under which charges will depend on demand.

The fare shall increase by 20 per cent after each slab of 10 per cent berths are sold, subject to the existing cap (maximum fare chargeable) on dynamic fare, a release from Nagpur division of Central Railway said today.

The trains included in the scheme with immediate effect are: 12101 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Howrah Jnaneshwari Express, 12129 Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express, 12809 Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Howrah Mail (via Nagpur) and 18029 LTT-Shalimar Express, it added.
