Four undertrials, including three rape accused, escaped from the central prison early today.
The prisoners, three accused of raping minors and another of murder, broke through the window of the barrack in which they were lodged, scaled the outer wall and tied the bedsheets to climb down to escape into the darkness, police said.
The three rape accused were booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offices (POCSO) Act 2012,police added.
A manhunt has been launched to track down the prisoners.
