Girl kiled in thunderbolt

A 12-year-old girl died after lightning struck her in a field at Barakolikhola village.

The mishap took place when the victim was assisting her father, a farmer, by sowing paddy seeds in the field.

The deceased has been identified as Archana Das.

The deceased's family would be extended ex-gratia relief, officials said.
