Dearness Relief of pensioners raised

The dearness relief payable to pensioners or family pensioners of ex-legislators of the Haryana Assembly has been increased by the state government.

The relief has been hiked from existing rate of 234 per cent to 245 per cent of the basic pension or family pension and dearness pension or dearness family pension of ex-legislators of Haryana Legislative Assembly with effect from January 1, 2016, said an official spokesman.
