HOOQ appoints Zulfiqar Khan as India Managing Director

Video-on-demand service today said it has appointed Khan as the Managing Director of its operations.

He succeeds Salil Kapoor, who has decided to move on to pursue other interests, said in a statement.

"He (Khan) is a familiar and respected name in the industry with immense knowledge of the business," said.

Khan has over 19 years of with rich experience and has worked across companies like and Eros Now.

HOOQ, which forayed into the Indian market in 2015, is a joint venture of Singtel, and It operates in Indonesia, the Philippines, and apart from India.
