Press Trust of India New Delhi
The Indian Air Force today launched an e-billing system to facilitate speedy accounting and clearance of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) bills to oil PSUs.

The aviation fuel management in the IAF involves over two lakh transactions per year and it is expected that the new platform will streamline the ATF bill payment system.

The e-billing module christened as 'ATF DIP' was unveiled by Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa and it will be implemented from April 1.

A web-based e-billing or the 'Aviation Turbine Fuel Digital Issue and Payment' has been developed for the speedy accounting and clearance of aviation fuel bills of Oil PSUs, the IAF said.

It said the e-billing system is in line with the government's flagship digital India programme.

At the launch event, the Chief of Air Staff termed it a milestone achievement for the IAF and complimented all those involved in the project.

He also complimented Oil PSUs for their commitment and unstinted support in ensuring robust supply chain management of aviation fuel.

The Indian Oil Corporation was specially lauded for its initiative in developing new designs for Bulk Petroleum Installation and Rubberised Fuel Tanks for ATF supplies at Advance Landing Grounds and Helipads to support various contingencies.
