An Additional Chief Secretary in Haryana government's Renewable Energy Department today died after he fell from stairs in his flat in Gurgaon.
56-year-old Harbaksh Singh, 1981 batch IAS officer, fell down from the staircase in his flat in Sector 15 and was rushed to civil hospital there where doctors declared him dead, an official spokesman said here.
Singh, who was posted in Chandigarh, had received serious head injuries.
Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed grief over Singh's demise.
