Indian killed in a road accident in Oman

An Indian worker in Oman was killed and one his co-passengers badly wounded after a van they were travelling in overturned near Mussannah.

The victim identified as Mohammed was a Keralite and was working at a shop, The Times Of Oman reported.

"The victim was travelling in a delivery van when it overturned near Mussannah, killing him instantly. One of the co-passengers is struggling for his life in the hospital," Indian social workers, who are coordinating the repatriation of the body, said.

"The condition of the co-passenger is critical. He is battling for his life," the social workers added.
