ITI student found murdered in UP village

An ITI student was allegedly murdered and his body found dumped near a village here today, police said.

17-year-old Ankur, hailing from Alampurkala village here, was missing since yesterday, ASP Jagdish Sharma said.

The unidentified assailants killed Ankur, son of Rajendra, and dumped his body near Sansarpur village under Behat police station, he said.

Villagers saw the body today and informed the police who, in turn, informed the relatives of the deceased.

Police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the crime.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and a case has been registered.
