J'khand CM dismisses IFS officer charged in DA case

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today issued a direction to initiate the process of dismissal of an Indian Forest Service officer for allegedly acquiring more wealth than his known source of income.

A departmental inquiry found 'proof' against IFS officer R K Sinha allegedly earning more than his known source of income, an official release said here.

A departmental action against Sinha was recommended, who was an erstwhile member of the Jharkhand Pollution Control Board.

The Chief Minister, however, issued orders to begin the process of his dismissal from services, the release added.
