Jawaharlal Nehru remembered

Puducherry Chief Minister N.Rangasamy today paid homage to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on the occasion of his 51st death anniversary today.

Speaker V Sabapathy, Ministers, legislators and freedom fighters of Puducherry were among those who paid floral tributes at the statue of Nehru in Gandhi thidal close to the seashore here.

Congress leaders led by PCC chief A V Subramanian paid homage.

Ruling AINRC party office-bearers also paid homage.
