Filmmaker Beth McCarthy-Miller has been tapped to direct the New Line Cinema project, which is an adaptation of Rosalind Wiseman's book, said The Hollywood Reporter.
2004 hit teenage drama 'Mean Girls' was based on Wiseman's other book.
