Japanese printer firm Konica Minolta aims to achieve a turnover of Rs 500 crore in two years on the back of growth in production and business segments.
"We have achieved a turnover of Rs 300 crore in 2013-14 financial year, growing at 35 per cent and we aim to reach Rs 500 crore by FY'16," Yuji Nakata, managing director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, told PTI.
Nakata has replaced Tadahiko Sumitani who has been promoted and assumed a new role as the global sales head at the company's headquarter in Japan.
The company also launched two new printer models in the range of Rs 20-25 lakh, targetted at the production segments.
"We are the market leader in production printer segment and the latest series will further strengthen our position in this segment," said Kuldeep Malhotra, Executive General Manager of Konica Minolta India.
The company has a portfolio of around 37 models of printers across segments.
The Japanese firm, which entered the country in 2010, claims to have 50 per cent market share in digital production printing.
It sells production printing machines used for tabloid, magazines, posters etc in the price range of Rs 16-40 lakh and office printing machines in the range of Rs 1.5-10 lakh.
The company has also set up a product experience centre in Gurgaon on which it has invested USD 1 million (around Rs 6 crore).
