Japan needs India's "outstanding human resources" in science and technology and collaboration between the two countries can revolutionise the sector to help solve global issues of environment, health and management, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said today.

Addressing a seminar organised as part of a science technology and knowledge exchange programme here, Abe expressed hope that collaboration between India and Japan will help solve global issues that humanity faces such as those in the fields of environment, health and management and will revolutionise the world of science and technology.

"Please come to Japan. Japan's science and technology needs India's outstanding human resources. Let's use and also synergise the power of Japanese and Indian science and technology to lead the world and contribute to humanity together," he said.
