Lakshminarayanan is Parliamentary Secretary to CM

K Laksminarayanan MLA, former Education Minister has beenappointed as Parliamentary Secretary to Pudcherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy.

The post became vacant after Congress' A John Kumar, elected from Nellithope constituency, quit the MLA post on September 15 to pave the way forV Narayanasamy to contest a by poll.

Meanwhile, the government has appointed with immediate effectJohn Kumar as Special Representative of the territorial administration to coordinate with the Chief Minister in respect of the matters to bedealtwith the Centre.
