Live grenade found outside militant's house, defused

A live grenade was today found outside the house of a suspected local militant in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.

The grenade was found in front of the house of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Sameer alias Tiger at Drabgam in Pulwama, a police official claimed.

A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot and the grenade was defused, he said, adding there was no damage caused by the controlled explosion.
