Major fire at plastic godown in Kolkata

A major fire broke out at a plastic godown near Dunlop area in the northern fringes of the city today, causing panic in the densely-populated locality.

There was no report of injury to anybody so far, fire brigade officials said.

The godown caught fire around 11.30 AM and 25 fire tenders were fighting the flame, they said.

The cause of the fire is yet be ascertain, they said.
