Man held for raping girl

An 18-year-old mentally

challenged girl was allegedly rapped by 57-year-old man, police said today.

Police said Sundaram used to vist the house of the girl's parents.

When the parents, vegetable vendors, were not in their house yester, Sundaram reached there and raped the girl.

Public gathered there and caught hold of him after the girl shouted. Police arrested him.
