A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by his neighbour in her aunt's house here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday when the 25-year-old man barged into a bathroom and allegedly sexually assaulted her, they said.
Based on a complaint lodged by the victim, a case was registered on charges of rape, wrongful confinement and other provisions besides under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, they added.
The accused, working at a private hospital, is being questioned, police said.
