Prices of thoor dal, urad dal, gram dal and wheat decreased while that of sugar increased in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review.
Price of thoor dal opened at Rs 12,700 on Monday and remained steady till today from the closing rate of Rs 13,000.
The rate of urad dal was Rs 13,000 on the opening day and it remained at that price till today from the closing rate of Rs 13,500.
Gram dal was down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 5,700 from Rs 5,800 and was at the opening rate throughout the week.
Wheat was less by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 2,700 from its closing rate of Rs 2,800 and finished the week at its opening rate.
Sugar was marginally up by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,450 from Rs 3,400.
The rate stood Rs 3,450 during the week.
Moong dal (Rs 9,200), Maida (Rs 2,500) and sooji (Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
