Naseem appointed convener of moderate hurriyat in PoK

Moderate Hurriyat Conference today appointed Yousuf Naseem as the convener of the outfit in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

"The Hurriyat has asked Naseem to take charge of political and diplomatic activities of the conglomerate in PoK and Pakistan," a spokesman of the amalgam said in a statement.

Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said Naseem was unanimously chosen for the post at the recently concluded executive council meeting.
