Nashik CP promoted as ADGP

S Jagannathan has been promoted as Additional Director General of Police.

The officer will, however, continue to work in same position as city police chief.

The senior IPS officer took charge as police commissioner two years back.

He was hailed for handling of Kumbh mela and keeping a tight leash on crime in the city, a release stated.
