New jt police picket set up at Serendag in Latehar

A new picket comprising personnel from the CRPF and the Jharkhand Jaguar was today set up at Maoist-affected Serengdag area in Latehar district.

Director General of Police D K Pandey met the jawans and villagers, according to police officers.

Pandey, who told villagers that the personnel were ready to help them, said peace was necessary for development.
