Night temp dips in parts of Raj, Mt Abu below freezing point

Night temperatures dipped in parts of Rajasthan by several degrees with mercury plummeting below freezing point in Mount Abu.

Bikaner in plains recorded minimum of 5.2 degrees Celsius followed by Chittorgarh where the minimum temperature last night was 5.5 degrees Celsius, according to MeT department here.

Sriganganagar, Phalodi, Vanasthali and Churu recorded minimum of 5.8, 6.5, 6.2 and 8.3 degrees Celsius respectively while other stations also recorded night temperature above 9 degrees Celsius.

Mount Abu also recorded minus 0.4 degree Celsius.

The weather conditions would remain the same during next 24 hours.
