Novartis India today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 26.47 crore for the quarter ended March of 2017-18.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2.91 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Novartis India Ltd said in a BSE filing.
Revenue from operations of the company stood at Rs 125.32 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 145.49 crore for the same period year ago.
The company's board has approved recommendation of a final dividend of Rs 10 per equity share of Rs 5 each for the year ended March 31 , 2018.
Shares of Novartis India Ltd today closed at Rs 666.15 per scrip on BSE, up 1.09 per cent from the previous close.
