One killed, two injured in accident in UP

One person was killed and two others of the family were injured after their car collided with a speedy truck on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway near Bijapura village in the district, police said today.

The deceased, identified as Kuldeep, was travelling with his sister and her 8-year-old child when their vehicle allegedly collided with an over-speeding truck yesterday, they said.

"The family had gone to attend a wedding in Dehradun, and were returning to Bulandshahr," the police official said.

The injured were rushed to hospital in critical condition, he added.
