A policeman was killed by a speeding truck on national highway-7 near here, police said today.
The policeman identified as Shravan Garg (50) was riding a motorcycle when he was hit by a speeding truck last night, Additional SP Rameshwar Yadav said adding he was posted as Hawaldar in the district.
Police have registered a case against the truck driver in this regard who absconded from the spot after the mishap along with the vehicle.
