Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh today stressed that there should be no bitterness in politics, saying the lawmakers should work to strengthen the democracy.
Addressing at a function at the Indira Gandhi Panchayti Raj Sansthan here, he said that the Opposition's work is to criticise the government and the government should also play its role by replying to the Opposition with responsibility.
In the programme organised by former MLAs, Singh said that politics has no place for bitterness and sitting as well as former MLAs have their own responsibilities and they should work to strengthen the democracy.
