Rain and thundershowers occurred at a few isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh while weather in the western part of the state remained dry.
Banda was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 43.8 degrees Celsius.
According to the MeT department, Harriya recorded 3 cm of rainfall while and Chandradeepghat, Regoli and Kakardharighat recorded 1 cm of rainfall each.

Day temperature rose appreciably in Meerut and Kanpur divisions, rose in Bareilly, Jhansi, Agra divisions, and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.
It was markedly below normal in Gorakhpur division, appreciably below normal in Faizabad division and was normal in the remaining parts of the state.
