The Rajasthan Police was put on alert tonight following the attack on Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir.
"All the range IGs and district SPs have been asked to stay on alert and maintain vigil to check any suspicious activities," Additional DG (Law and order) N R K Reddy told PTI.
He said that police officers have been asked to remain alert to check any violence or any such activity following the attack in J-K.

The situation is normal in Rajasthan, he said.
Seven Amarnath pilgrims, five of them women, were killed and as many injured in the militant attack that took place around 8.20 pm.
