Shares of financial services firm Reliance Capital today rose 4 per cent as the company reported 22.5 per cent rise in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30.
The stock gained 3.83 per cent to settle at Rs 351.40 on the BSE. During the day, it surged 5.64 per cent to Rs 357.55.
At NSE, shares of the company closed 4 per cent higher at Rs 351.35.

The company's market capitalisation rose by Rs 327.52 crore to Rs 8,877.52 crore.
In terms of volume, 9.58 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the BSE and over 39 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
Reliance Capital today reported 22.5 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 201 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had a net profit of Rs 164 crore in the April-June quarter of 2014-15.
Total income also rose to Rs 2,457 crore during the first quarter from Rs 2,144 crore in the three month period of 2014-15 fiscal, Reliance Capital said in statement.
As on June 30, the net worth of the company stood at Rs 13,867 crore, an increase of 10 per cent.
Among the group companies, Reliance Mutual Fund's profit before tax was Rs 108 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
