Automaker Renault India today reported over two-fold jump in sales to 8,343 units in May as against 3,601 units last year.
The cumulative sales figure for the period Jan-May stands at 50,058 as against 19,006 in the corresponding period last year, thereby registering a growth of 163.4 per cent, the company said in a statement.
Renault India said it has embarked on "an aggressive network expansion plan" to increase its sales point to 240 by the end of 2016 from the current 210.
