Close on the heels of two full grown sandalwood trees smuggled from a famous park here, another sandalwood tree at a railway employee's house was cut by some miscreants today but left lying at the spot.
M P Krishnan, who woke up early this morning, saw the 10-year old sandalwood tree lying cut into two pieces in his compound, at Ramnagar in the city, police said.
A complaint has been lodged with the police.
