Six killed after being struck by lightning in UP

Six persons were killed and four others injured after being hit by lightning in different parts of the district, police said here today.

Santosh Yadav (58) and Baleshwar Yadav (45) were killed yesterday in Hariballampur and Darauli villages respectively, it said.

Kundan (14), Gulab Yadav (62), Reena Yadav (32) and Juned Khan (50) were also killed after being hit by lightning, it said.

Police said that four persons were injured.
