Small sugar declines on poor demand

Small sugar prices declined at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to poor demand from stockist amid improved supplies from mills.

While, medium sugar variety ruled stable in the absence of any necessary buying support.

Small sugar (S-30) fell by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,462/2,592 as compared to Rs 2,462/2,602 yesterday.

Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at yesterday's level of Rs 2,572/2,690.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,462/2,592 (Rs 2,462/2,602).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,572/2,690 (Rs 2,572/2,690).
