Sri Lankan navy arrests four TN fishermen

The Sri Lankan Navy today arrested four fishermen from Nagapattinam district on charges of crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line, Fisheries Department sources here said.

The fishermen had put out to sea from Nagapattinam yesterday. Their boat drifted towards Kankesanthurai following a technical snag in the engine, Joint Director of Fisheries Department Subburaj said.

He said the navy personnel also seized their boat.
