Tamil New Year day celebrated

People offered worship at various shrines on the occasion of the Tamil New Year today.

Special poojas were performed at various temples. Lt Governor Lt General (retired) A K Singh, Chief Minister N Rangasamy, Ministers and host of leaders of various parties were among those who greeted the people on the occasion.
