Teenaged boy killed in mishap, 19 injured

: A teenaged boy was killed and 19 others injured when the private bus they were travelling in fell into a pit at Iyermadam in this district, police said.

The bus was coming to this town from Karur when the driver lost control of the vehicle at Iyermadam village and the vehicle fell into a pit, killing the 18-year-old boy, they said.

All the injured have been hospitalised.
