The BJP's Jharkhand unit today

expressed deep grief at the collapse of a mine resulting in the death of nine miners at the Lalmatia Project in Godda district.

In a condolence message, party's General Secretary Deepak Prakash said that the party stood behind the bereaved families at this hour, a party release said.

He said Chief Minister Raghubar Das issued strict instructions to the senior officials to be at the spot and assist in the rescue work.
