Three sentenced to life imprisonment

Tijai, Sannu and Berenda abducted and raped the girl in Jignahwa village of the district on June 19, 2008, prosecution sources said here.

The victim was rescued after one month of captivity and her medical examination confirmed rape, police said.

On the basis of evidences, Additional District and Sessions judge Munshi Lal Azad convicted them yesterday.
