Transport Department in the union territory today said a comprehensive plan would be prepared to provide safe, secure, efficient and reliable connectivity and to ease traffic congestion.
The plan would be prepared in keeping with the guidelines of Union Urban Development Ministry, Transport Commissioner S.D.Sundaresan said in a release here.
Improved mobility for all socio economic groups and genders, improved safety and security for pedestrians and non motorized vehicles would be given priority.
