Two MULTA militants nabbed, fake currency seized

Two Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Asom (MULTA) militants were apprehended today by security forces in Assam's Goalpara district.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint operation was launched by army and police personnel in Lakhipur area last night and the two militants were arrested today, a defence spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, fake currency with a face value of Rs two lakh and two pistols were seized from the two militants.
