Two commercial sex workers were arrested from powerloom town of Bhiwandi in the district today for allegedly pushing a 14-year-old girl into flesh trade, police said.
The victim, who hailed from Kolkata, is cousin sister of one of the sex workers, said Inspector Rajan Saste of Bhiwandi Shahar police station.
"She was held captive by the duo in a room behind Rohan Hotel near a brothel in Hanuman tekdi area," he said.
The women are identified as Parvin Javid Khan (28) and Soni Islamuddin (25) and are charged under sections 372 (selling minor for purposes of prostitution) and 373 (buying minor for purposes of prostitution) rw 34 of the IPC and sections 6 (1)(a)(b) of the PITA act 1956, police said.
