UNLF activist held

A cadre of the United National

Liberation Front (UNLF) was arrested by a combined team of the police and Assam Rifles on Monday last, a police release said today.

The release said UNLF activist identified as Keisham Joykumar alias Ahongjao (45) of Nongpok Lourembam Awang Leikai was arrested by security forces during frisking and checking at Pechi crossing area in Thoubal district under Yairipok police station.

A case was been registered at Yairipok police station and investigations were on.
