American theatre chain Alamo Drafthouse has announced that it will hold special shows of "It: Chapter Two" for "clowns only" across the US.
The special screenings will happen in cities like Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Phoenix, North Virginia and others.
In a statement, the company said viewers are "encouraged to come dressed as a clown the wig, the makeup, the oversized pants and suspenders, the blood-curdling makeup and sit through this coulrophobia-inducing fright fest with a theatre full of fellow clowns."
The film, a sequel to 2017 horror blockbuster "It", is directed by Andy Muschietti and features an ensemble cast of Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone and Andy Bean.
Bill Skarsgard, who frightened the viewers with his take on horror entity Pennywise the Clown, is back at it in the sequel.
The first film, also directed by Muschietti, followed the first half of Stephen King's eponymous novel, telling the story of a group of children who are terrorised by Pennywise the Clown (Skarsgard) and forced to face their own demons to defeat him.

Alamo Dafthouse had hosted similar screenings at the time of "It" release as well. The shows were held in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Omaha, and Brooklyn.
"It: Chapter Two" is scheduled to be released worldwide on September 6, 2019.
