Woman alleges rape by three persons including businessman

A woman today alleged that she was raped by a businessman and two others in Salt Lake locality, police said.

The woman who used to work as a maidservant today lodged a complaint at Bidhannagar East police station under Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate alleging that a businessman and his driver and gateman raped her on February 23 night.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) of Bidhannagar Police Debashis Dhar said the businessman's wife had earlier lodged a complaint against the woman on February 27 alleging that she had demanded Rs 15 lakh from her family otherwise she would implicate her husband in a rape case.
 

The ADCP said we are probing both the complaints.
