Woman killed in house collapse

A 50-year-old woman was

killed and two others, including a minor girl, were seriously injured when a house collapsed today at Manjhauli in the district.

A mud house collapsed due to rains and Rinku Devi (50) was killed on the spot, while the two injured were extricated by villagers and admitted to the Nawada Sadar hospital, a police official said.

He also said the body could not be taken for post-mortem as villagers had cremated her by the time police reached there.
