Youth kills girlfriend, self in UP

A 25-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide after shooting dead his girlfriend at Bangaon village in Tehbarpur area here.

The incident occurred yesterday night when Ravindra alias Tillu met his girlfriend Purnima (18) and shot her dead, police said.

Later, he also shot himself and died on the spot, they said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, they added.

Probe is on in the matter, Superintendent of Police, Akash Kulhari said.
